Both the first and second editions of this book have been sold out, and are therefore not available from Arcadia or any brick or online bookstore. Allan Rubin, Sam's father, has a few autographed copies of the books (second editions only-sorry but the 1st edition copies are all sold out) that are available at a price of $ 50 plus postage and handling.

For comparison purposes, just take a look at the price of the book that it is being offered at on Amazon, and you will see that used copies of the book are selling for $74. This 128-page soft cover book features 200 photographs that trace the history of baseball in New Haven from the 1860s to the present. Among the Yale-related images:

Written by Athletic Department staff member Sam Rubin `95 (sam.rubin@yale.edu), the book also features the other local college and pro teams, including the West Haven Sailors, West Haven Yankees, New Haven Ravens and more.

Sam is also the author of Yale Football, a pictorial history of football at the fabled university
