(12/8/21)- With the House having passed President Biden’s spending package, and having sent it on to the Senate, here are the key provisions aimed at lowering the cost of medical bills/

Under the House legislation Medicare would be allowed to lower the price of 29 drugs a year once they have been on the market for several years. Their bill would limit how much seniors cab be asked to pay for their drugs. It would establish a spending cap of $2,000 a year for their drugs

It would cap co-payments for insulin at $35 a month, and it would have Medicare cover the cost of hearing aids.
